Live flamenco: the show of the Spanish themed event

Flamenco is the moment international guests take home with them. Shows range from a couple of dancers to companies of more than 20 performers, and adapt to the pace of the event:

  • Flamenco and Spanish dance with guitar: 1 to 4 dancers in sets of 5 to 8 minutes, with shawl, fan, bata de cola and castanets.
  • Flamenco company with singer, guitars, percussion and palmeros: the fullest format for a large stage.
  • Modern flamenco: bespoke choreography, up to 40 minutes in several sets and at least 3 costume changes.
  • Flamenco with LED or fire: fusion with urban dance and lighting, or fire dancers indoors or outdoors.
  • Portable wooden tablao of 2 × 2 m so the footwork can be heard.

April Fair stalls for the Spanish themed event

Imagen

The April Fair stalls turn a garden, a terrace or a function room into the fairground. They work as a games, drinks or photo area, and can be set up for several nights in a row.

  • Fair tents 346 cm high × 300 × 300 cm, with the client's logo if desired.
  • Décor included: fair lanterns, geraniums, a barrel, terrace tables and chairs, decorative wine bottles and petals on the floor.
  • One game per stall chosen from our mini fair games (190 × 70 cm), with prizes.
  • One hostess per stall, dressed in sevillana costume, who explains the game and gets guests involved.

A great match for teaching guests to dance sevillanas between stalls.

San Fermín, castellers, sangria and tapas: traditions of the Spanish event

Imagen

The Spanish themed event brings together traditions from several regions in one night. We choose them according to the group:

  • San Fermín: the atmosphere of the Pamplona festival, with red neckerchiefs and a mechanical bull whose operator adjusts the intensity to each guest.
  • Castellers: the great Catalan tradition of human towers, as a display or as team building where guests build their own castell.
  • Sangria and tapas: a charcuterie cart with ham and cured meats, and a cocktail bar with sangria.
  • Flamenco welcome: dancers with shawls, stilt walkers in flamenco dresses or an equestrian show with horse and dancer on arrival.

More products to complete the Spanish event

Classic games, freshly squeezed juice and souvenir photos that fit the theme and can be added to the same quote.

Spanish themed event dress code

The dress code is optional, but it really helps the group get into the mood:

  • Women: flamenco or sevillana dress, or a polka-dot dress with a flower in the hair and a shawl.
  • Men: white shirt, sash and Cordoban hat, or a short Andalusian suit.
  • San Fermín version: all in white with a red neckerchief and sash, the easiest option for international groups.

The stall hostesses wear sevillana dresses and help set the scene from arrival.

Catering and bar for the Spanish event

Food is part of the cultural experience, not an extra:

  • Tapas: ham and cured meats carved at the charcuterie cart, cheeses, Spanish omelette and cocktail-style bites.
  • Sangria and Spanish wine at the stalls or at the cocktail bar.
  • Freshly squeezed orange juice for daytime events.

If the client already has a caterer, we add the carts and the themed bar as an add-on.

How to adapt the Spanish event to each client

  • International incentive or conference: flamenco welcome, a show during dinner, castellers and sangria with tapas.
  • Company dinner: fair stalls with games and prizes, mechanical bull and a sevillanas workshop.
  • Wedding: flamenco dancers at the cocktail hour, Spanish guitar and an equestrian show or flamenco stilt walkers on arrival.
  • Trade fair or brand activation: branded stalls and sevillana hostesses.
  • Multi-day event: the stalls stay up and the staff return every night.

Space, set-up and staff for the Spanish event

Each element has its own requirements, so we review them with you when the programme is closed:

  • Stalls: about 3 × 3 m each and 3.5 m clear height; set up in the afternoon or the day before.
  • Flamenco: lighting, sound and, for footwork, a 2 × 2 m tablao; aerial shows need a separate structure.
  • Castellers: enough clear height for the tower.
  • Mechanical bull: firm ground, sockets nearby and step-free access.
  • Staff: performers, one hostess per stall and a bull operator, depending on what is booked.

Around 80% of our events take place outside Barcelona: Madrid, Valencia, Seville, Zaragoza or Vigo.

Spanish night for international guests at hotels and incentive trips

Spanish night

A Spanish night for international guests is one of the most common requests from agencies and DMCs: the group arrives at the hotel, has dinner and wants to take a piece of Spain home on their phones. Set up in the hotel ballroom or on its terrace, it avoids transfers and turns the programme dinner into the memory of the trip.

For an Andalusian party for companies, with sevillanas and fairground stalls, the format centres on the April Fair. If the client prefers variety, we combine traditions from several regions into a cultural experience for conferences or conventions. It works just as well as a Spanish themed party in Madrid, Seville or Málaga, because the artists create the atmosphere, not the venue.

  • Hotel dinners for groups from agencies and DMCs, with flamenco and tapas without leaving the accommodation.
  • Andalusian company parties with April Fair stalls, sevillanas and games for every attendee.
  • Conference social programmes, with traditions from several regions explained to audiences from many countries.
  • Incentive trip welcome nights, so the international group feels Spain from the very first dinner.
