Roman welcome: living carpet, goddesses and living tables
The arrival is already a show. Guests walk in along a white carpet lined with torches that is part of a Roman goddess's dress, the Living Carpet, while two slave girls throw petals and gladiators guard the door.
- Live harp music to set the mood at the reception.
- Roman costumes for every guest and a trunk of accessories.
- 3 × 2 metre photocall with the theme and the company logo, plus a photographer for photos with the gladiators.
- Wine goddess: serves drinks from her dress.
- Roman living tables: actors who offer the cocktail canapés to guests.
Arena shows: gladiators, chariots and fire
The shows are the heart of the Roman Empire event. In the large format they run in several sets throughout the day, in an arena surrounded by stands:
- Gladiator fights and a battle between slaves and gladiators.
- Horseback trials: javelins, rings and fire.
- Two-horse carts and a chariot race, with chariots pulled by four horses.
- Fire dance and a fire show with poi to close the night.
In a function room or marquee, without horses, the programme focuses on the gladiator fights, the fire dance and acts such as the Wings of Isis. Fire requires the venue's permission, and every show needs lighting and sound.
Caesar's games: guest challenges with a podium
After the shows, Caesar announces that the games have begun and guests take action in a guided area:
- Gladiator fights with rubber swords and shields, with a referee who scores each player.
- Log duel: two players face off on a log with rubber staffs until one knocks the other down.
- Javelin throw and archery at decorated straw targets.
- Endurance on the mechanical bull.
Each challenge has a supervisor who records the scores. Taking part is optional: guests join whenever they like and in any order, over about 3 hours with a break for another show. At the end, Caesar crowns the winners on a podium and hands out the prizes.
Colosseum and décor for the Roman Empire themed event
For the large format we build a colosseum-style arena 50 metres in diameter (40 m inner ring) that serves as show area, games area, dining room and disco. It includes:
- Stands for 300-400 guests, draped in white and maroon fabric.
- 18 giant Roman columns, SPQR standards and a central marble spina that marks out the ring.
- Caesar's stage with an imperial chair, flags and cups.
- 8 marble shields of 1.20 m, sculptures, flowers, petals and wicker baskets.
- Lighting and sound: spotlights for shows and dinner, 18 speakers and 50 LED lights around the perimeter.
In a function room, the décor is scaled down to columns, SPQR standards, white and maroon drapes and the photocall.

- Room or marquee format: gladiators, fire dance, living tables and inflatable games; 2 to 4 hours of set-up.
- Fire: the venue's permission and, indoors, a check of the smoke detectors.

Gladiator team building and toga parties for companies
Let the games begin
Gladiator team building takes competition to its most epic level: teams named after legions, challenges with rubber swords and a Caesar handing out laurels at the end. It strengthens cohesion within a department or closes a convention with a day remembered for the laughter as much as for the results.
If you prefer something more festive, a toga party for companies dresses the whole team in white and gold, with a banquet and shows in the same room. In cities with a Roman past such as Tarragona or Mérida, the theme connects with the surroundings and appeals to incentive groups. And at town festivals with historical re-enactments, gladiators and fire fill the square with spectators.
- Legion-based team building with gladiator challenges, team scoring and laurels for the winners.
- Corporate toga parties with costumes for everyone, a Roman banquet and shows during dinner.
- Incentives in Roman cities such as Tarragona or Mérida, where the theme connects with local history.
- Municipal historical re-enactments and town festivals with gladiators, fire dancing and games for the public.
