What corporate archery is and how it works
Corporate archery in Barcelona runs in rounds: we set up a line of targets with a safety backstop and participants come through in groups of six, led by a qualified instructor.
Each round starts with a two-minute briefing: how to nock the arrow, how to draw the bow and, above all, the safety rules, which are strict and non-negotiable. Nobody crosses the shooting line until the instructor says so.
Then a few practice arrows at short range and, once the group has the hang of it, the line moves back and scoring starts. The usual ending is a team tournament: two qualifying rounds and a final, with the standings on a board.
It's a static, quiet, very visual activity. It demands no fitness and leaves nobody out of breath, and it grips people from the first arrow that lands in the target.

What kind of events archery suits
Archery for corporate events fits at:
- Outdoor company days and family days.
- Internal tournaments between departments, with standings and a prize.
- Themed events — medieval, fantasy or Wild West.
- Trade fairs and brand activations, with the target printed with your logo.
- Offsites at country houses and farmhouses with grounds.
- Conventions in sports halls, set up indoors.
It's one of the few activities in this section that works as well in winter as in summer, because it can be set up under cover without losing anything.
Archery requirements
To set up an archery area at your event we need:
- Space: a strip of around 25 × 10 metres. Indoors (sports hall, warehouse, large room) or outdoors (garden, field, car park) both work.
- A clear backdrop: the critical requirement. Nobody can pass behind the targets, even with a backstop in place. A wall, a dense hedge or a fence is ideal.
- Ground: firm and level. Grass, earth or paving.
- Power: not needed.
- Participants: comfortable clothing, with no wide sleeves or loose jewellery.
We provide bows in several draw weights (there are light versions for anyone with less strength), fibre arrows, targets with stands, a backstop, arm and finger guards, and qualified instructors. Recommended minimum age: 12.
Why book archery for your company
Archery for company events solves the most common and most difficult case: a large group, with very different ages and fitness levels, who want something that isn't another gymkhana.
Fitness counts for nothing here. Whoever concentrates wins, and that reshuffles the group in a way that tends to surprise: the one who stands out isn't always who you'd expect.
It also works as a background activity inside a larger event, with people coming and going in rounds, without everyone having to stop at once.
Archery team building and company tournaments in Barcelona
Aim for gold
An archery team building day in Barcelona, or at any estate, sports hall or garden, combines focus, healthy competition and plenty of laughter for people of every age and fitness level. With a company archery tournament, every department defends its score and the results are rarely the ones anyone expected.
At a corporate family day, the shooting line works as a continuous activity that staff and their families can drop into throughout the day. For winter events, indoor archery for conventions can be set up in a sports hall or warehouse without losing anything. And at trade fairs, a target with your logo draws visitors to the stand.
- Interdepartmental tournaments: qualifying rounds and a final with a podium to reward the winning team.
- Company family days: archery in rotating groups open to employees and their families.
- Sports hall conventions: an indoor shooting line as an activity between working sessions.
- Medieval themed parties: archers for a day to bring a period or fantasy event to life.

Corporate archery price
What corporate archery costs is decided by the shooting lines and the hours the service runs.
- Capacity: each line, with six targets and its instructor, serves about 35 people an hour in free mode and about 20 when there is a scored tournament.
- Example: a group of 80 people over two hours needs two full lines.
The price covers bows, arrows, targets, backstop, guards, instructors and the activity's public liability insurance. Charged on top: transport outside Barcelona, targets with your company's image and the tournament prizes, if you would rather we handled them.
Setting up the shooting area
Setting up an archery area takes about 45 minutes, and it's the moment when the safety of the whole activity is decided.
We place the targets on their stands, build the backstop behind them and mark out the shooting line and the waiting area. We cordon off the sides and the back so nobody can wander in, and clearly mark the route for collecting arrows.
Outdoors, we orient the line so that the archers aren't shooting into the sun and the prevailing wind doesn't cross the flight path. Taking down takes 30 minutes.
Booking your archery activity
Before you book archery for your company, gather these details:
- The date, the time slot and the format: free or tournament.
- The number of participants, from which we work out the shooting lines.
- A photo or plan of the venue, because we have to see what lies behind the targets.
- If you want printed targets, let us know three weeks ahead.
The booking is closed with 50% paid in advance. And note: before confirming we always inspect the space. If the backdrop is not safe, we tell you and suggest another option; it is the only activity in this section where we can veto a venue.
Frequently asked questions
How does corporate archery work?
Archery runs in rounds of 6 people, with a qualified instructor for each one. Each round starts with two minutes of safety rules, continues with practice arrows and scoring, and usually ends with a team tournament: two qualifying rounds and a final. It suits 10 to 80 people.
Do you need experience or good fitness for archery?
No, archery requires neither experience nor fitness, so it works for groups of very different ages and abilities. The minimum age is 12. We have beginner bows in several draw weights, including light ones for anyone with little strength.
What space does archery need, and can it be set up indoors?
Yes, archery can be set up indoors (sports hall, warehouse or large room) or outdoors. It needs a strip of about 25 x 10 m with a clear background, on firm, level ground. It needs no electricity. We set up in about 45 minutes.
Is archery safe at a company event?
Yes, archery is organised with a safety backstop, a cordoned-off zone and arm and finger guards. Nobody crosses the shooting line until the qualified instructor says so. Nobody can pass behind the targets either, which is why we ask for a clear background.
Can archery be personalised with my company's logo?
Yes, archery can be personalised with targets bearing your company's image or logo. It is a good way to draw visitors to a fair stand or to give an internal tournament its own identity. We take care of transport, set-up and collection.
