What the fire show is

Booking a fire show for events brings a visually powerful experience: professional performers combine dance, juggling and choreography with different fire and light elements.

There are oriental dance, tribal fusion and contemporary choreographies, solo or in a group, with their own costumes, music and characterisation. Seduction, sensitivity and artistry to carry the audience into a world of fantasy and exoticism from the first moment.

How the fire show works

The show opens with carefully staged choreography and music matched to the type of event. During the performance, the artists present different numbers using elements such as:

  • Fire fans.
  • Fire poi.
  • Staffs, torches and fire swords.
  • Fire hula hoop, crown and palms.
  • Fire clubs and handheld pyrotechnic effects.

Every show is tailored in length, number of performers, theme, costume and music. Fire and LED numbers can also be combined across different sets through the night.

Fire Show at a real event

Fire show price

What the fire performance costs is determined by how long the act runs, the number of artists, the event venue and the type of show you choose. When the celebration is outside Barcelona, travel is part of the tailored quote. Request it without commitment.

Technical requirements and safety

  • A suitable performance area, depending on the piece booked: from 6 x 4 metres up to 8 x 5 metres for the larger shows.
  • Lighting and sound equipment.
  • Authorisation for the use of fire if the event is indoors, because of any fire detection systems.
  • Pre-check: before starting we run a full equipment check, sound tests and a review of every safety measure.

These are the fire show safety requirements we go through with you when agreeing the space.

Why book a fire show?

  • Instant impact: fire in motion stops every conversation, especially at night and outdoors.
  • Art, not just effect: these are professional dancers and jugglers, with choreography, costume and characterisation.
  • It adapts: length, number of performers, theme, costumes and music are all tailored to each client.
  • A climax: a fire show to close the night leaves the event's best memory.

Show formats available

Fire fans / fire poi / fans and poi combined

  • Length: around 30 minutes.
  • Dancers: you choose how many; we recommend a minimum of 3.
  • Structure: 2 or 3 sets of 10-15 minutes each.
  • Fully adaptable to the client's choice of music, though that needs more lead time to build the choreography.

Poi are burning balls attached by chains to handles, which the performer spins in time to the music. The combined format mixes poi, fans, torches, swords and fire staffs.

El Presagio

  • Short version of 15 minutes or long version of 25.
  • 4 dancers and 1 sound technician. Black and white costumes, medieval music.
  • Performance area: 8 x 5 metres.
  • Elements: fire fan, hula hoop, crown and palms.
  • The white witches gather to recover the ancient recipes hiding the secret of happiness; the devil finds out and wants it for himself, and one of the maidens turns hell into the most beautiful place for a ritual.

Agnis

  • 4 dancers and 1 sound technician. Ethnic music.
  • Performance area: 6 x 4 metres.
  • Elements: fire fan, hula hoop, staffs, crown and palms.
  • Dancers from different parts of the world bring memories of a sacred past into the present, with sinuous movement and great charm.

Encuentro Lunar

  • 2 dancers and 1 sound technician. Ethnic music.
  • Elements: fire fan, crown and palms.
  • On a full-moon night, two princesses from unknown worlds light the flame of their desires and create a fantastical world of fire and colour.

Dark Side

  • 2 dancers and 1 sound technician. Music by Rage Against the Machine.
  • Elements: fire fan, poi and palms.
  • The rockiest version of the fire dance show, with the same visual force in a different musical register.

Fire show for midsummer, town festivals and country weddings

When night falls

Some nights call for fire. On Saint John's Eve midsummer celebrations, a show of fire fans and poi fits the tradition and gathers every guest around the performance. At town council festivals, it is the act that fills the square and stays in the town's memory. Light, music and expectant silence.

At a country estate wedding, fire at dusk marks the move from dinner to party with a highly photogenic moment. For period settings, the medieval fire show, with costumes and ancient-inspired music, completes fairs and themed celebrations. And at a Halloween party, it adds the eerie touch that was missing. If you want to hire a fire show in Barcelona or another city, ask us for a quote.

  • Midsummer celebrations: flaming fans and poi to celebrate the shortest night of summer.
  • Town festivals: a show in the square or on the municipal stage as the grand finale of the day.
  • Country estate weddings: a dusk performance in the garden that leads into the dancing.
  • Medieval fairs and Halloween: dark costumes and period music for themed settings with fire.

Frequently asked questions

What is a fire show for events like?

The fire show is a performance by professional artists who combine dance, juggling and choreography with fire fans, carioca, torches, swords, hula hoops and clubs. It lasts between 18 and 30 minutes, with 1 to 4 performers, and can be done in one go or in 3 sets.

Can a fire show be held indoors?

Only with the venue's authorisation, mainly because of fire detectors. Outdoors there is no such problem. Before the fire show begins we check the equipment, the sound and the safety measures, and we agree the space with you before the event.

What space does the fire show need?

The fire show needs a performance area of 6 x 4 to 8 x 5 metres, depending on the number of performers, and a space to change. It can be staged on a stage or as a parade. Setting up and dismantling take about 30 minutes each, and no electricity is needed.

Can I choose the music and personalise the fire show?

Yes, the fire show choreography can be set to the music the client chooses, although more lead time is then needed to create it. Duration, number of performers, theme and costumes can also be personalised, and it can be combined with LED light shows.

What events is the fire show ideal for?

The fire show is ideal for summer nights, weddings, Saint John's Eve, outdoor parties, trade fairs, corporate events, brand activations and openings. It stands out at night and outdoors, and it is a great way to close the evening.
