What turns a karaoke into a song contest is the voting. The host runs the gala and hands out the points:
- Jury at its own table facing the stage: managers, guests or a performer.
- Audience vote by table, with points cards.
The scoreboard is projected on screen and updated country by country, with the classic twelve points moment. Between performances, a round of the event quiz with music questions adds bonus points. The final ends on the podium (70, 60 and 50 cm modules) with a trophy for the winning delegation; hostesses and a photographer complete the gala.

Country delegations and decoration for the Song Contest event

Before the gala, each team is given its country. The decoration of the Song Contest themed event revolves around that idea:
- Flags on each delegation's tables and an opening parade.
- Custom photocall with the festival name and the client's logo.

Interval and grand final: shows for the Song Contest

While the jury deliberates, a show keeps the Song Contest energy up:
- LED dancers (2 to 8) with choreography and light-up costumes.
- LED roller skaters gliding around the room between the tables.
Breakdance or the laser show work as an opening or closing act before the winner is announced. LED dancers need no set-up and perform with the venue's light and sound, best in low light.
