What the retro jukebox is and how it works
Retro jukebox hire for events brings a music machine inspired by the jukeboxes of 1960s and 70s American diners, with a design close to the legendary Wurlitzer and the Rock-Ola 1422. Rockola, jukebox, gramophone and "sinfonola" all mean the same thing: the name comes from its inventor, David Cullen Rockola.
- Choose the music source on the LCD screen: USB, Bluetooth, CD, vinyl or radio.
- Music plays through its own sound system, with LED lights and a decorative retro button panel.
- Tip: bring a USB stick with all the event's music so it plays by itself.
When we install it, our technicians show you how it works.

Retro jukebox for weddings: from the drinks reception to the party
At a wedding, music sets the tone for every moment, and a jukebox for weddings lets guests take part too. As well as playing music, it decorates: its lights and chrome create a charming corner that appears in many of the photos of the day.
- A drinks reception with atmosphere: guests pick songs as they chat, with no need for a DJ during that part of the day.
- The couple's playlist: we tailor the playlists to the couple's style, from 60s classics to their favourite songs.
- A decorative corner: even if the party music comes from another system, the jukebox still dresses the space.
Its music sources include USB, Bluetooth, CD, vinyl and radio, so it is easy to prepare the wedding selection. The sound covers a room of about 50 people and, for larger spaces, it connects to an amplifier. It fits beautifully at vintage weddings and retro-themed celebrations, as well as at hotels and venues with a lounge area. We handle transport and installation, indoors or in covered outdoor areas, and bring the wedding jukebox to Barcelona, Madrid and other parts of Spain.

Jukebox hire in Barcelona for company dinners and film shoots
Music with style
Jukebox hire in Barcelona gives you music and a statement piece of décor at once, catching the eye as soon as you walk into the room. At company dinners and Christmas parties, guests choose their own songs and the evening livens up by itself, because there is always someone looking for their favourite track.
For film shoots, adverts and photo sessions, a jukebox with lights and chrome instantly sets the scene for an American diner or a period set. In restaurants and hotels planning a themed night, it dresses the space even if the main sound comes from another system. We work in Barcelona and Madrid and travel to many other regions. Jukebox set-up and installation
We handle jukebox delivery and set-up, indoors or covered outdoors:
- Planning: we agree the best spot with you.
- Installation: we place it on its platform and check the sound and lighting.
- Configuration: we adapt the playlists or connections to the event's atmosphere, and connect auxiliary outputs if needed.
- Assistance: you can add technical support during the event.
- Dismantling: afterwards, we take it away and leave the space clean.
Booking the jukebox
How do you book the jukebox? With 50% up front and the remaining 50% on the day of the event; if you prefer, you can pay 100% when booking. We need the set-up and start date and time, the name and phone number of the person who receives us, the exact place and the tax details. We email you the invoice with the account number and, when transferring, put the invoice number as the reference.
Lead time: up to the eve if the day is free and there is no branding, though we advise a month.
Cancellation: if the date cannot be moved, the 50% is lost. We refund 100% if it rains and the jukebox was going outdoors, or if the event is cancelled altogether.
Frequently asked questions
What is a retro jukebox and how does it work?
The retro jukebox is a music machine inspired by American jukeboxes of the 1960s and 70s. You choose the music source on the LCD screen (USB, Bluetooth, CD, vinyl or radio) and it plays through its own sound system, with LED lights. You can also connect your phone and play your Spotify playlist.
What does the retro jukebox need to work?
The retro jukebox needs a 220 V socket within 1.5 m, drawing 100 W. It measures 160 x 66 x 42 cm, weighs 50 kg, and we recommend a space of 200 x 150 cm. It goes indoors or in a covered outdoor area and needs no staff.
Is the retro jukebox loud enough for a large room?
The retro jukebox covers a room of around 50 people with its 2 x 15 W speakers, 2 tweeters and subwoofer. For larger spaces, it has an output for an external amplifier, so it can be connected to a bigger sound system.
What events can I hire a retro jukebox for?
The retro jukebox suits weddings, communions, retro parties, company and Christmas dinners, hotels and lounge areas, birthdays and brand launches. It is also used on film shoots and photo sessions as a musical prop for American diner or period sets.
Can the retro jukebox be customised with my event colour or logo?
Yes. We can fit fixed LED lights in your event colour and place your logo on the sides of the retro jukebox, in high-quality matt PVC fixed to the structure. We need the logo in high resolution at least 2 weeks in advance.
