Day of the Dead altar and Mexican décor
The altar is the heart of the Day of the Dead: a place of remembrance with candles, photographs, marigolds and offerings. We complement it with décor designed for rooms and stages:
- Tribute to the dead décor: 400 × 200 cm or 500 × 100 cm.
- Papel picado: 24 m of criss-crossed garlands, extendable in 12 m sections.
- Hanging fans: 30 pieces from 20 to 40 cm.
- Giant standing skulls: 150 × 50 cm.
It is completed with a Day of the Dead photocall of 300 × 200 cm, which can be fully redesigned with the client's image, four tripods with 150 × 70 cm banners, a large 500 × 200 cm banner and 250 × 150 cm Mexican flags. We have prepared this décor, for example, for the stage of a council show of music, dance and acrobatics set on the Day of the Dead.
Catrinas and sugar skull make-up for guests
The catrina, the elegant skull with flowers and a hat, is the most recognisable image of the celebration. At a Day of the Dead event guests want to wear it on their faces:
- Professional make-up artists who paint sugar skulls in a few minutes.
- Different levels: half face with details or a full transformation.
- Flower crowns to finish the catrina look.
- Body paint for performers or hostesses who welcome the guests.

Mariachis and shows for the Day of the Dead
In Mexico the Day of the Dead is celebrated with music, not silence. That is why we suggest live entertainment to go with the altar and dinner:
- Mariachis in charro suits, touring the tables or performing on stage.
- Dance shows with catrina costumes.
- Aerial or fire performers for the big moment of the night.
- Decorated stage for council or company shows.
If your client wants a more general Mexican party, with tequila, a piñata and sombreros, see the Mexican themed event; and if they prefer scares and horror, the horror themed event.
