What the virtual reality surf simulator is
VR surf simulator hire is the most immersive version of our surf simulator. The rider steps onto the board on the moving platform and puts on virtual reality goggles: the room disappears and they are out at sea, with the wave under the board and the horizon all around.
The platform tilts in every direction with the wave they see in the goggles, so the body feels what the eyes see. The challenge is the same: keep your balance for as long as possible as the difficulty rises.
A wave only you can see
VR mode
With the VR surf simulator the experience is far more immersive than with the screen: the rider only sees the sea, the sun and the incoming wave. Meanwhile the queue follows the ride on the screen and cheers every fall.
- Full immersion: the surfer only sees the sea, not the venue.
- Synced movement: the board moves with the wave seen in the goggles.
- For the audience: the screen shows what the rider sees.
- Hygiene: goggles cleaned between riders, technician included.

- Shopping centres: summer or seasonal campaigns.
- Brand activations: board and set branded with your image.
- Company events: challenges and rankings between colleagues.
- Tech fairs: VR fits a tech audience.
VR surf simulator hire price
The cost to rent the VR surf simulator depends on how long the event lasts, where it is and whether you want your branding on it. The service covers the virtual reality headsets, the technician, transport and set-up. Send us the date and venue and we will give you a quote with no obligation.
Set-up and booking
We bring the simulator, set it up in 1 hour and a technician runs it throughout the event. It needs a 3 x 3 m space and a nearby power socket. Booking is confirmed with a 50% deposit. We install it in Barcelona, Madrid, Valencia and the rest of Spain.
Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between the regular surf simulator and the VR one?
The platform and the board are the same. In the regular version the rider looks at a screen; in the virtual reality version they wear VR goggles and find themselves out at sea, so the experience is far more immersive.
From what age can the VR surf simulator be used?
We recommend the VR goggles version from 13 years old. For younger children the surf simulator with a screen is the better choice.
Can we switch between screen and VR at the same event?
Yes. It is the same simulator, so it can be used with a screen or with VR goggles depending on the audience and the moment of the event.
