What a burger cart for events is
The burger cart for events is a catering service serving freshly made burgers throughout the event. It becomes a real draw for guests: an informal, delicious experience, perfect for any celebration, fair or corporate event.
Our cart combines fast service, a professional look and enough capacity to feed guests without long queues.
How the burger catering works
Here's how Burger Cart Rental works, step by step:
It's simple and designed for fast, continuous service:
- The cart is set up in the agreed spot before the event starts.
- Our team cooks the burgers on the spot to guarantee quality.
- Guests order and get their freshly made burger within minutes.
- The service can run for several hours with a steady flow of customers.
- Different burger options can be arranged to suit the event.

How many burgers can be served per event
The number of burgers depends above all on the hours of service booked. On average, per machine:
- 1 h of service: approx. 20-30 burgers.
- 2 h of service: approx. 40-60 burgers.
- 3 h of service: approx. 60-90 burgers.
- 4 h of service: approx. 80-120 burgers.
If there isn't that much time and there are a lot of guests, we recommend hiring more than one machine: these figures are per machine.
Requirements for the burger cart
We mainly need the following; if any of these is missing, we talk it through beforehand to find a solution:
- A power point nearby (within 2 metres). Power required: 120 W.
- An area to lay out the ingredients we'll be using.
- An area for disposing of the plastic wrappers.
- An easy route from the unloading area to where the cart will stand.
It can be set up indoors and outdoors, as long as conditions allow.
Do you need to hire staff?
The cart can be booked in three ways:
- With staff included: our own United Events team comes along, with servers cooking the burgers.
- Without staff: just the machine is hired.
- With the client's own staff: if you'd rather your team ran it.
Choosing servers for the burger cart speeds up service when there's a big crowd.
Why hire the burger cart?
- Continuous service: the cart runs for several hours with a steady flow of customers.
- Freshly made: every burger is cooked on the spot, in front of the guest.
- A meeting point: street food for events brings people together and builds atmosphere.
- Flexible: with or without staff, and with burger options matched to the event.
- Customisable: the cart can be dressed in the brand's identity.
What kind of events the cart is ideal for
The burger cart fits a wide range of events:
- Fairs and conferences
- Corporate events and team building
- Openings and product launches
- Brand activations
- Festivals
- Private parties and birthdays
- Weddings and family celebrations
- Sports events
- Shopping centres
The format serves food quickly and in an orderly way for the whole event.
Burger cart hire in Barcelona for corporate events and weddings
Street food your way
Burger cart hire in Barcelona is the relaxed alternative to traditional catering: freshly made food, served on the spot, with an atmosphere that makes people want to stay. As a burger food truck for companies it suits long days when people need to eat well without sitting down and keep enjoying the event.
At a company party or a summer dinner, the cart creates a natural meeting point where departments mix. At private celebrations, burger catering for weddings works brilliantly as a late-night snack, when dancing builds an appetite. For brands, a cart branded with your logo on a trade fair stand draws visitors and lengthens conversations. Ask for a quote with your date and guest numbers.
- Late-night wedding snack: freshly made burgers around midnight so guests can refuel and keep dancing until the end.
- Summer company parties: an informal format that gathers the whole team around the cart for hours.
- Trade fair stands: the aroma and a cart dressed in your branding pull visitors towards your space.
- Sports events and festivals: continuous, well-organised service for large crowds eating on their feet.

Street food catering hire price
We work out the cost of hiring the burger cart from what your celebration needs:
- how many hours the service runs;
- how many guests we'll serve;
- where it takes place;
- how large a team is required;
- whether you want the cart dressed in your own look;
- and any extras you choose to add.
Request a quote with no strings attached and we'll send you a proposal built around you.
Set-up, transport and installation
United Events handles the transport, installation and collection of the cart:
- Advance planning: we agree the cart's position, access for set-up and the event's technical requirements. Adequate access is needed to bring the equipment in.
- Power connection: the cart needs mains power, rated at 120 W. Our team makes all the connections and checks everything works before starting.
- Initial tests: we check all the cooking equipment to guarantee safe, efficient service.
- Pack-down: once the service ends we dismantle everything and leave the space clean and tidy.
We work in Barcelona and anywhere in Spain; for travel outside Barcelona, transport is included in the quote.
Booking the burger cart
Email, call or WhatsApp us with your request; we check the diary and tell you the hire price. As soon as you accept the quote, you pay 50% to reserve the burger cart, and the other 50% falls due the day before the service (if that day is a public holiday, the last working day before it, so the payment arrives in time). To go ahead we need:
- the day and hour we set up the stand;
- the day and hour the wedding, birthday or company event begins;
- a name and phone number to reach when we arrive;
- the precise venue address;
- your tax details so we can invoice.
Booking lead time: with a customised cart, ask at least 2 working weeks ahead. Without customisation you can still request it 2 days before, but we wouldn't recommend it, since another event has probably taken the date. The usual approach is to reserve 1-2 months in advance and secure the service.
If you cancel: the deposit holds the day so we don't offer it to anyone else, which is why it's refunded only when the cause lies beyond the client's control (coronavirus or the like). You can, however, shift the event date without forfeiting what you paid.
Frequently asked questions
What is the burger cart for events and how does it work?
It is a catering service where we prepare burgers to order, in front of the guest, throughout the event. We set the cart up in the agreed area before the start, our team cooks, and guests receive their burger within minutes. The burger cart suits long events with a constant flow of people.
How many burgers can the burger cart serve?
It depends on the hours of service booked. On average, per machine, we estimate about 20-30 burgers in 1 hour, 40-60 in 2 hours and 80-120 in 4 hours. If you have many guests and little time, we recommend hiring more than one burger cart machine.
What space and electricity does the burger cart need?
It needs a power point less than 2 metres away, an area for the ingredients and another for disposing of disposable wrappers. The burger cart takes up 230 x 100 cm and can be set up indoors or outdoors, with an easy route from the unloading point to the setup spot.
Is the burger cart hired with waiters or without staff?
There are three options: with staff included, meaning our own waiters who cook the burgers; without staff, hiring only the machine; or with your own staff. Having waiters speeds up the burger cart service when there is a large crowd.
Is there a vegan option at the burger cart?
Yes, we prepare vegan burgers on request. The standard burger contains gluten (bun), milk (cheese), egg (mayonnaise) and mustard, so please tell us about any allergy or diet when requesting a quote for the burger cart and we will adapt the service.
