It's a machine operated by one of our staff, who spins the floss around a 40 cm wooden stick and hangs it on a vertical stand. The cart has two metal supports and two wheels for moving it, a handle for pushing it and a dome over the bowl that protects the inside from germs and dirt.

It's simple and very eye-catching:
- Our operator prepares the machine before service starts.
- They add the special floss sugar.
- The machine turns the sugar into fine caramelised threads.
- The operator gathers the floss onto a wooden stick and hangs it on the vertical stand beside the machine.
- When the stand is full, they pause until more are requested and keep making them on demand.
Pace: one portion every 30-60 seconds, using 12-18 g of sugar. The stand fills up in around 15 minutes if nobody takes one. Each 1 kg tub of flavour makes about 50 portions, roughly half an hour of continuous service.
The time per portion varies with how many questions guests ask and how practised the operator is; if a crowd arrives at once, the pace tightens to 30 seconds a unit.

Cart set-up and installation
We handle everything:
- Planning: we agree where the cart goes and check access.
- Connection: a standard 1,200 W socket.
- Set-up: assembling the candy floss machine is simple, with only three parts — cart, hygiene dome and machine — so the time is essentially however long it takes to move it from the van to the spot. Once installed it can be repositioned easily.
- Testing: we check it works before service starts.
- Staff: the service includes an operator with a food handling certificate who makes and serves throughout. If you prefer, the staffing can be deducted from the price: it's simple to run and, for a small private party, the machine can even be collected from our warehouse and returned afterwards.
- Pack-down: we remove all the equipment at the end.

Booking the candy floss cart
Reserving the cotton candy cart calls for a 50% advance on the total and for you to send us, by email or phone:

Timing: ideally book about two weeks out. If the cart is free you can ask even the day before, but if that day we already have it at another event there's no way to offer it. We have 6 carts spread across Spain (Barcelona, Madrid and Valencia); to hire several, let us know early and we'll gather them.
Cancellations: if it must be called off through force majeure, we keep what was paid so the event can move to another day. If our team has already reached the venue, it is charged as a full service. You can swap it for another product at no surcharge and pay only the difference; however, graphics or branding already produced must be paid for.
