What the French fries cart is
French fries cart hire for events is a catering activity serving freshly cooked fries throughout the celebration.
Its irresistible aroma, its quick service and how well it goes down with any crowd make it one of the most requested options for corporate events, fairs and private parties: food, entertainment and convenience in a single station.
How the fries cart works
It works very simply:
- Our staff set the station up before the event starts.
- The fries are cooked during service, to guarantee the best quality.
- Guests receive their portion freshly made.
- The service runs continuously throughout.
- Different sauces or extras can be added to suit the event.
Cooking in front of people creates interest and keeps drawing guests over.

Why hire the French fries cart?
- Everyone likes it: fries are among the most universally appreciated things you can serve.
- Fast service: it can feed a very large number of guests across the day.
- Ideal for big events: fairs, festivals and corporate events.
- The aroma does the work: the smell of freshly cooked fries pulls people over by itself.
- A good complement: a food station for events that pairs well with other stations or food trucks.
Technical requirements
- Power: an electrical point within 2 metres, with a standard 2,500 W supply.
- Space: a generous area to lay out the products and work comfortably.
- Access: an easy, clear route from the unloading area to the spot.
If any of these isn't possible in your space, tell us and we'll find a solution for the fries cart set-up.
Portions and sauces included
Portions: the total depends on the hours booked, at an average rate of:
- 1 hour: roughly 30-50 portions.
- 2 hours: roughly 60-100 portions.
- 3 hours: roughly 90-150 portions.
Sauces: a choice of ketchup, mayonnaise, mustard or barbecue is included. With that hourly service rate it's easy to work out how long you need for your numbers.
Customising the cart
We can customise the lower or upper front panel of the cart to match your event's theme or your brand's identity.
If you need branding on the food cart, allow at least 2 working weeks to produce and fit the artwork.

- Shopping centres and brand activations
- Festivals and sports events

French fries cart hire for corporate parties, trade fairs and stands
Companies and fairs
Looking for French fries cart hire in Barcelona for a corporate event? Think of it as a crowd magnet. At a company party or after-work drinks it breaks the ice between teams, and on an exhibition stand it turns passing visitors into conversations. Nobody walks past a freshly made portion.
For brands and agencies it is an easy way to keep visitors at the stand longer: while they wait for their portion, your sales team has a few minutes to introduce itself. With a fries cart branded with your logo, every cone ends up in photos carrying your image. We are based in Barcelona and travel for fries cart hire in Madrid, Valencia and anywhere in Spain. Ask us for a quote with date, times and expected numbers.

Fries cart hire price
What the fries cart costs is adjusted to the service time, the guests, the event location, the serving hours and any extra staff you ask for. Request a no-commitment quote from us and we'll send you a proposal made to measure.
Cart set-up and installation
We handle the whole process:
- Planning: we agree the available space with you and check access.
- Connection: a standard 2,500 W socket within 2 metres.
- Set-up: setting up the fries cart takes around 1 hour: getting the cart stable in place, connecting the fryer and checking it works, and organising the sauces and ingredients so everything is ready.
- Testing: we run all the checks before the event starts.
- Staff: the service includes specialist staff for preparation and service, though the machine can also be hired without an operator.
- Pack-down: we remove all the equipment at the end.
The service is available in Barcelona and across Spain; travel costs depend on the event's location.
Booking the fries cart
The route to hiring the fries cart starts with a request by email, phone or WhatsApp: we see whether it's free and give you the price. With the quote approved, 50% is paid on booking and the other 50% the eve of the service (if that's a public holiday, the last working day before, so the payment arrives in time). You need to tell us:
- Installation day and time.
- Day and time the event kicks off.
- Name and phone of whoever will receive us.
- The exact place.
- Tax details to invoice.
Deadlines: if you want it customised, we need 2 working weeks minimum. Uncustomised, it can be requested up to 2 days before, but we advise against it because it's probably already rented. The norm is to book 1 or 2 months out.
Delivery conditions without an operator
For unstaffed hire, a deposit is required, refunded in full on collection provided that:
- The machine works properly and has no damage.
- The cart is returned completely clean, exactly as it was received.
If any of this isn't met, a proportional amount is deducted from the deposit on the unstaffed cart hire.
Frequently asked questions
What is the chip cart for events and how does it work?
It is a food entertainment service that serves freshly made chips throughout the event. Our team sets up the station before the start, the chips are cooked during the service and guests receive their portion straight away, with a choice of ketchup, mayonnaise, mustard or barbecue sauce.
How many portions per hour does the chip cart serve?
The chip cart serves an average of roughly 30 to 50 portions per hour: about 60-100 in 2 hours and about 90-150 in 3 hours. The total depends on the hours booked, and we work out the time you need from your guest numbers.
What electricity and space does the chip cart need?
It needs a standard power socket less than 2 metres away and a spacious working area, with 1 metre left clear in front for the queue. It also needs an accessible route from the unloading area. If any point is not feasible at your venue, we will find a solution.
Can the chip cart be customised with my company logo?
Yes, we customise the lower or upper front of the chip cart with your event theme or your brand image. Allow a minimum of 2 working weeks to produce and install the graphics before the event.
Do I need to provide staff to run the chip cart?
No, staff are included, as are the tableware and disposables. We work from Barcelona and set up the chip cart anywhere in Spain, handling transport, installation and collection. Setting up takes less than 1 hour.
