What Team Survival is
Inspired by the best-known survival formats on television worldwide, this activity sets teams a series of outdoor challenges: building shelters, navigation and endurance tasks.
Every one of them takes genuine collaboration to complete.
How Team Survival works
Here's how Team Survival Challenge works, step by step:
- Specialist outdoor instructors lead teams through a sequence of tasks.
- A shelter is built from limited materials.
- Navigation exercises and endurance tasks follow.
- All of it under simulated scarcity, in either a competitive or a collaborative format.

How to build survival team building into a company offsite
Survival team building fits very well as part of a wider programme. Placed well in the agenda, the outdoor challenge brings energy and talking points that carry through the rest of the day or the offsite, long after the tasks are over.
- Before lunch: teams arrive at the table with shared stories and the conversation flows on its own.
- After work sessions: following a morning in a meeting room, getting out into nature clears heads and re-energises the group.
- In leadership programmes: the tasks provide real examples to analyse later in a debrief session.
- At conventions: an intense activity to reinforce messages about resilience and adapting to change.
We find the right natural setting near your event venue and bring specialist instructors and all the equipment for the challenges. You can choose a competitive or collaborative format depending on your goal. We organise the survival activity for companies near Barcelona, Madrid, Valencia and across Spain, as part of your company offsites or outdoor days.

Outdoor activities for companies: survival challenge in nature
Away from the desk
The best outdoor activities for companies are the ones that take everyone out of their usual role. Out in nature, job titles stop mattering and what counts is listening, sharing tasks and deciding quickly. This team building in nature turns a day away from the office into a story the team will tell for months.
We run survival team building in Barcelona and the surrounding area, and also as outdoor team building in Madrid, Valencia or wherever your headquarters are, choosing a natural spot nearby. It fits two-day offsites, a company outdoor day before a countryside lunch, or the central challenge of a leadership programme. Tell us about your group and we will help you choose between the competitive and the collaborative format.
- Leadership team offsites: a survival challenge that tests leadership and genuine decision-making under real pressure.
- Onboarding new teams: an outdoor day that builds trust between people who barely know each other yet.
- Conventions with a free day: an activity in nature to escape the meeting rooms and recharge everyone's energy.
- Resilience and change programmes: outdoor exercises that bring lessons about scarce resources back to everyday work.

Team Survival price
The cost of the Team Survival day is calculated by taking into account the location, the length of the day and how many instructors are needed. If you want concrete figures, ask for your personalised quote: it commits you to nothing.
Organisation and hire across Spain
Team Survival can be organised anywhere in the country: around 80% of our events take place outside Barcelona, in cities such as Madrid, Valencia, Seville, Zaragoza and Vigo.
We find a suitable natural site near the event and bring all the equipment for the tasks, instructors included.
Booking Team Survival
Want to book the Team Survival day? It is confirmed once 50% is paid in advance, always by invoice. We then need these details by email: when the event takes place, with date and time; where it is, with the exact address, and who the contact person is; how many participants there will be; the invoicing data.
Cancellation: if you cancel for justified reasons, we will look at a refund under the agreed terms.
Frequently asked questions
What is the Team Survival team building activity?
It is an outdoor activity in which teams take on challenges in the countryside: building a shelter from limited materials, orienteering and endurance tests. Specialist instructors guide the challenges, and it works on leadership, trust and decision-making under pressure.
How physically demanding is Team Survival, and what should participants wear?
The physical effort is high, so it is worth letting the group know in advance. Participants should wear field clothing and footwear; we provide the shelter, orienteering and challenge equipment. Team Survival needs no electricity.
Where does Team Survival take place?
It takes place in a natural setting close to the event venue, with no set-up and no electricity. We work with sites near Barcelona and in the rest of the country, and we find the right one for the group, with challenges adapted to the location.
How many people can take part in Team Survival, and how long does it last?
Between 10 and 80 people can take part, in teams of 6 to 10, for a half day or a full day. It can be run as a competition between teams or as a collaborative format, depending on what the company wants, in Spanish, English or Catalan.
