Football arcade machine hire brings one of the most iconic cabinets from the classic amusement arcades: a football video game made by Gaelco and released in 1999.
It's a game for two players at once. Each has their own control panel with buttons and a joystick to move and pick the plays, and —this is what surprises everyone— a real football on the floor to kick during the match, both to pass and to take penalties.
It's ideal for sports events, trade fairs, conferences, open days and brand activations.
How the football arcade works
It's very easy to operate:
- Press the credits button to get games, with no coins needed.
- Choose one or two players.
- In the selection screen, each player picks their team.
- During the match the game prompts the user with the options at each moment, so even a complete beginner is told what to do next.
- At any point you can use the ball on the floor to pass to your players, shoot at goal or take penalties.
Players: it's designed for two players at once, but one person can play alone with no extra setup.
Length: by default, 5 minutes for two players and 3 minutes for one. The arcade game length can be set anywhere between 2 and 15 minutes, and during set-up we show the event manager how to change it whenever they like.

Access: the machine is heavy and large, so we need a clear route from the loading area to the installation point, with no stairs. The control area is about 2 metres wide, so it can't be manoeuvred through very narrow corridors with turns. If there's any doubt about access for installing the cabinet and the event is in Barcelona, we'll come and see it in person.
Space: the size of the machine plus room for the crowd watching. If it goes outdoors, the client must be able to shelter it from rain and provide security overnight, when the event isn't running.

The cost of renting the football simulator depends on the days, the place, the units, company branding, additional technical personnel and complementary services. Madrid and Barcelona are both places we work, but outside Barcelona transport is extra; inside, it's free.

Booking the football arcade

The football arcade is booked with an invoice in your billing details and a 50% payment: from that moment your chosen dates are yours and aren't offered to anyone else. The other 50% is settled on the day of the event. The invoice records:
- Set-up day and time.
- Day and time the event begins.
- Contact person and phone number for our arrival.
- The precise event location.
- Details of the company being invoiced.
Lead time. These simulators are much requested. You can book within the same week, though they may be taken already; the sensible course is a week's margin, plus one more if you want branding.
If you cancel. Blocking the date means no other client can hire the machine on those days, so the booking amount isn't reimbursed. There are two exceptions: moving the event to another date within one working month, or cancelling it altogether because of rain or similar.
