What a model-making workshop for events is
The model-making workshop for events is a creative, educational activity where participants build and personalise their own model aeroplane with help from a specialist instructor.
During the workshop they learn basic modelling techniques, develop manual dexterity and stretch their creativity while making a unique model to take home. It's ideal for schools, communions, family days, fairs, shopping centres and corporate events.
How the model-making workshop works
Here's how Model Airplane Workshop works, step by step:
Our instructors set up a fully equipped work area so each participant can build their model step by step. During the activity they can:
- Choose from different aeroplane models.
- Assemble the parts with the instructor's help.
- Learn basic modelling techniques.
- Paint and decorate their model with different finishes.
- Take their finished plane home as a keepsake.
No previous experience is needed: the activity is pitched at children and beginners.
Model aeroplane workshop for shopping centres, hotels and summer camps
Some venues need a calm children's activity that keeps kids focused for a good while and does not require a big set-up. The model aeroplane workshop does exactly that: each child picks one of 10 models, builds it step by step with help from the instructor and decorates it to their liking before taking it home.
- Shopping centres: a weekend activity that keeps families in the centre for longer and fills the kids' area.
- Hotels: a plan for the kids' club during the holidays or at events with families staying over.
- Summer camps: a model-making session that balances out days full of physical activity.
- Christmas and special dates: a workshop that fits seasonal programmes and gives children a present they have made themselves.
We set up the work tables, organise the materials and bring one model kit per participant, along with brushes, glue and children's gloves. The instructors supervise the whole process so that every child finishes their plane. It is a children's activity for shopping centres and hotels that we bring to Barcelona, Madrid, Valencia and all over Spain, adapted to the number of participants.

Model-making workshop for kids at family days, fairs and schools
Ready for take-off
A model-making workshop for kids has a special charm: watching loose parts turn into an aeroplane they then decorate their own way. A model aeroplane workshop in Barcelona is perfect for events that need a calm, absorbing activity, because every child focuses on their own plane from start to finish.
Many companies choose it as a model workshop for family days, especially when their sector is linked to aviation, transport or engineering. At themed fairs, a model workshop at aviation and motor shows draws families and brings the stand to life. It is also a different children's activity for communions and a very useful educational resource for schools. Ask for a quote and we will adapt it to the number of participants.
- Company Family Days: staff children build and paint their aeroplane in a calm, guided activity.
- Aviation fairs and shows: a themed kids' corner that brings aviation closer to visiting families.
- Communions and birthdays: a different workshop where every guest takes their finished model home.
- Schools and culture weeks: model-making as an educational activity that builds patience, precision and creativity.
