What the badge workshop is
The badge workshop for events lets participants express their creativity by designing their own personalised badges.
With a selection of magazines to hand, they can cut out colourful, funny adverts to use as decorative elements, as well as colouring in and adding artistic touches to the badge templates we provide.
How the badge workshop works
- Participants cut elements out of magazines or colour in the badge templates they're given.
- They personalise their design with felt tips, coloured pencils and other art materials.
- A laminating sheet is placed over the finished design.
- The instructor turns the design into a metal badge using the press.
- For the youngest there are ready-made templates they colour and the instructor turns into a badge.
Everyone takes away their own personalised badge, made by themselves.

Badge-making workshop for weddings and communions: a handmade keepsake
At a wedding or a First Communion there is always a moment when children, and plenty of adults too, look for something to do. A badge-making workshop for weddings fills that gap with a calm, creative activity that also leaves a keepsake of the day.
- A corner for the kids: while the grown-ups enjoy the drinks reception or the long lunch, the children design their badge with the host.
- A personal keepsake: every guest goes home wearing a badge they made themselves, far more special than a bought favour.
- For all ages: the youngest colour in templates, while older children cut out magazines for more elaborate designs.
The host operates the badge machine and turns each laminated design into a metal badge on the spot, so the result is instant. We bring all the materials: magazines, templates, felt tips, coloured pencils and round-tipped scissors. All you need are tables and chairs, indoors or in a covered outdoor area, which makes it easy to fit into a corner of the venue or restaurant. It is one of those communion activities and wedding ideas that parents really appreciate.
Materials included in the workshop
The workshop arrives with everything prepared:
- Magazines to cut up.
- Badge templates to colour and paint.
- Laminating sheets and metal badge blanks.
- Felt tips in various colours, coloured pencils and pens.
- Round-tipped scissors.
- The badge press, operated by the instructor.
With those materials for making personalised badges, the workshop only needs tables and chairs to work at.
Badge-making workshop for schools, town festivals and shopping centres
The badge-making workshop is easy to bring to any space with a family audience. It needs no large set-up and participants can take turns, which is why it suits open events with lots of people coming and going.
- Schools and school events: an educational activity that builds creativity and fine motor skills and shows how a real object is made.
- Town festivals: a creative corner in the square that complements the games and attractions on the children's programme.
- Shopping centres: an engagement activity that keeps families around and gives them a reason to stay a little longer.
- Special dates: at Christmas, carnival or back-to-school time, the badges follow the theme through the cut-outs and colours chosen.
Every participant leaves wearing the result, so the activity becomes walking publicity for the event. We bring the host, the machine and all the materials to children's events in Barcelona, Madrid, Valencia and the rest of Spain. We just need tables and chairs indoors or in a covered outdoor area, and we fit around the schedule of the day.

Custom button badges with your logo for trade fairs and companies
Instant merchandise
A button badge workshop in Barcelona does not have to be just for children. On a trade fair stand or at a brand activation, making custom badges with your logo on the spot turns the classic promotional giveaway into a small experience. Visitors leave with something they made themselves.
At conferences and conventions, the badge machine draws delegates during breaks and sparks conversation around the stand. At a company family day, parents and children design their badge together in corporate colours or with their own drawing. At festivals and shopping centres it is a drop-in activity that keeps the area busy. We bring it to Barcelona, Madrid, Valencia and anywhere in Spain.
- Trade fair stands: custom badges with your brand made live for every visitor who stops by.
- Conferences and conventions: a badge workshop during breaks that encourages delegates to visit the stand.
- Corporate family days: parents and children create badges together with their own drawings or company colours.
- Shopping centre activations: a drop-in badge workshop that livens up campaigns and weekends.

Frequently asked questions
What is the personalised badge workshop for events and how does it work?
It is an activity in which each participant designs their own badge by cutting out magazine pictures or colouring a template. A plastic cover is then placed over the design and the monitor turns it into a metal badge with the machine. Everyone takes theirs home.
How many badges can the badge workshop make per hour?
The badge workshop makes up to 50 badges per hour, with 1 monitor, or 2 monitors for large groups. The service lasts a minimum of 2 hours and is free entry with no set times, so guests can drop by the workshop whenever they like.
What do we need to provide for the badge workshop?
Just tables and chairs for the participants. We bring the monitor, the badge machine, the metal badges, the plastic covers, the templates, the magazines, the markers, the pencils and the round-tipped scissors. It needs no electricity and takes up about 2 x 2 m.
What ages and events is the badge workshop suitable for?
The badge workshop is suitable for all ages, with ready-made templates for the youngest children. It fits family days, fairs, shopping centres, communions, birthdays and corporate events, indoors or in a covered outdoor space. The monitor turns the coloured templates into badges.
Can we make badges with the company logo at a trade fair?
Yes. At a trade fair stand or a brand activation, the badge workshop can make personalised badges with your logo on the spot, and each visitor takes away an object they have made themselves. Setting up takes around 15 minutes.
