Hawaiian Hula for companies and weddings
Hawaiian dance, or Hula, comes from Hawaii and is accompanied by chants recounting the events of the original Hawaiian tribes. We mix the traditional dance with fire effects using juggling props, creating a highly elegant show.
- Length: 30 minutes.
- Line-up: 4 Hawaiian dancers, with or without fire effects.
- Technical requirements: lighting and sound.
If the venue doesn't allow fire, we adapt the show while keeping the choreography faithful to the traditional Hawaiian dances.

The origins of Hawaiian Hula dance
Hula was created in the Hawaiian islands by the Polynesians: a dance accompanied by chants, with a wide range of steps depending on the chant. The hand movements depict elements of the surroundings — wind, sun, sea — over basic hip and foot steps.
Hula isn't the only Polynesian dance — many islands have their own — but it is Hawaii's. Two main variants exist today: Hula Kahiko, the ancient form, and Hula Auana, shaped from the 19th century by Western influence.
Within the forms there are Olapa and Ho'o-paa: Olapa only dance, while Ho'o-paa dance, chant and play the instruments. Our shows are Olapa, because the music and chants come through the event's sound system; a Ho'o-paa would need original instruments that are hard to obtain today.
At corporate events, entertainment or family parties no special ceremonies are performed, but the Polynesian dance for events keeps its basic steps and its connection with nature.
Fire effects: with or without fire
The fire version of the Hawaiian dance is the most spectacular: the dancers bring torches and juggling props into the final part of the choreography, while staying true to traditional Hula.
- With fire: the venue must confirm beforehand that it's allowed (indoors or outdoors, venue rules).
- Without fire: the same choreography and costumes, with no pyrotechnic element at all.
Either way, the show keeps the same length and the same number of dancers.

Hire Hawaiian dancers for company and summer parties
Aloha at your event
If you want to hire Hawaiian dancers anywhere in Spain, this show turns a dinner or terrace into a night by the Pacific. A Hawaiian party for companies with a live show spreads good humour from the very first sway of the hips and brings the whole décor to life.
As a tropical show for summer events, it suits pool parties, garden dinners and conventions in coastal hotels. At a wedding, the fire version creates a photo moment as night falls. And in hotels and resorts, a Polynesian dance show gives guests a different cultural experience that everyone can enjoy.
- Corporate summer parties: a Hawaiian show as the heart of a tropical themed party.
- Outdoor weddings: Hawaiian fire dancing for a magical moment at dusk.
- Hotels and resorts: a Polynesian show for themed nights with local and international guests.
- Coastal conventions: Hawaiian entertainment for the welcome dinner by the sea.

- Lighting and sound at the venue (we can provide it if the venue doesn't have it).
- At least 3 x 3 m of clear space for the choreography.
- The dancers arrive with their own costumes and equipment.

Customising the show
The Hawaiian dance show can be customised:
- Number of dancers to suit the event.

- Adapted music and length.
- Hawaiian/tropical costumes matched to the event concept.
Musical customisation of the choreography needs extra time, so it's best to book ahead.

Frequently asked questions
What does the Hawaiian Dance show include for events?
It is a performance of Hula, the dance originating in Hawaii, with 4 dancers (expandable) in traditional Hawaiian costume. It lasts 30 minutes, in one or several sets, and the choreography can be adapted to the client's music. It can be booked with or without fire effects.
Can the Hawaiian Dance be hired with fire effects?
Yes, the Hawaiian Dance has an option with fire effects using juggling props, but you must first confirm that the venue allows it. If fire cannot be used, we adapt the show while keeping the choreography, the duration and the number of dancers.
What space and equipment does the Hawaiian Dance need?
The Hawaiian Dance needs a clear performance area of 3 x 3 metres and the venue's lighting and sound, which we supply if the venue has none. It needs no electricity of its own and no set-up. The dancers arrive in costume and need a space to change.
Where do you perform the Hawaiian Dance and which events is it suited to?
The Hawaiian Dance can be performed indoors and outdoors, and we take it from Barcelona to anywhere in Spain. It suits weddings, summer parties, tropical themed events, company dinners and hotels and resorts. We also offer a hula workshop and flower garlands.
