Welcome to Chicago in the turbulent 1920s, when Prohibition was in full swing and the city was a melting pot of underworld, elegance and organised crime. At this exclusive themed event, we invite you to immerse yourself in the intriguing and exciting atmosphere of the Prohibition era, when the wealthy gathered in secret places to place big bets and do illicit business, while enjoying the best nightlife in pure cabaret style, with shows and live music.

Let your guests live in a different era, where they can pretend and enjoy an experience no one has ever offered them before, as if this event were a time machine. They will be able to place bets, get tattoos and be in an atmosphere completely different from today's.

1920s-style invitations: 

From before the event, guests will feel teleported to this era. This invitation is very original and will surprise everyone who receives it, since for the event fake money will be needed to exchange for chips to play the games of chance.

The invitation is fake money, fully personalised for the event, and it will let guests play all the games of chance such as French roulette, poker tables, Blackjack tables, among others.

The purpose of these fake banknotes is for guests to have a keepsake of that themed night, and at the end a winner is chosen.

Welcome for guests: 

On entering the secret venue, you will be instantly teleported to the 1920s. The entrance will be decorated with neon lights, period posters, the name of Chicago in large letters, and gangsters waiting for you to give the password, along with 1920s hostesses who will take you to your seat, while the staff will be dressed in period costume to welcome the guests.

Catering:

There will be buffet stations with snacks inspired by the cuisine of the time, such as mini burgers and elegant canapés.

We offer different menus, from which you can choose an assorted variety of hams and cheeses, accompanied by bread rolls, quince jelly, jams and oils, mini burgers, croquettes, seafood, salads, among other things.

This catering will open to guests one hour after arrival time and everyone can choose whatever they like best.

A dessert table decorated in 1920s Chicago style can also be included.

Drinks bar:

Of course, no event would be complete without a delicious selection of food and drink. At our speakeasy bar, expert bartenders will serve a variety of classic Prohibition-era cocktails, from the traditional Old Fashioned to the iconic Sidecar.

Likewise, a cart with an assorted selection of whiskeys, as was customary at the time, will be placed in a strategic spot for guests to help themselves freely.

Dress Code:

To immerse yourself fully in the experience, guests are encouraged to dress in period outfits. From pinstripe suits and fedora hats for the gentlemen to fringed dresses and feather boas for the ladies.

Entrance

At the entrance, a speakeasy space will be created in neutral tones, with barrels, period lamps, two feather decorations on each side of the door, a Chicago sign in LED lights and two people dressed as gangsters waiting for the guest to give them the secret password. 

Casino Tables

To get the feeling of placing bets, a casino table is the main attraction of the event, where guests place bets with the event's personalised banknotes.

At each casino table there is a croupier themed in 1920s style.

Normally the time to start playing the casino tables at the event is after dinner and the host's speech. And once the event or party is over, the prizes of the night are awarded, usually with a top 5 of the people who have collected the most banknotes.

Tables

Each table will have a red tablecloth, with tall centrepieces full of feathers and candles around them. Each one will be numbered for better seating of the guests. Plates, cutlery and glasses will be properly set at each place.

The chairs will be black with red feather boas and black hats.

Stage

The stage will be decorated with red and black curtains with lights around them, where the band and the dancers will give their show.

Cigar and Cigarette Girls

Around the venue, hostesses in Prohibition-era costumes will roam with a tray hung around their necks and an assortment of cigars and cigarettes for any guest who wants one. There will also be chocolate ones for those who just want to experience receiving one as in those years.

Popcorn Machine

In a corner of the event, a large popcorn machine will be waiting for the ladies and gangsters to come and indulge while they enjoy the show or the band.

Living Table

A great attraction of the event is the living table, which can be surrounded by desserts, drinks or whatever the client prefers, and we will make it happen. The hostess inside wears 1920s costume and will hand out the food or drink the guest wants.

1920s Photocall

Souvenir photos are a must, and what better than a space set in the Prohibition era, full of weapons, barrels, posters, lamps, candles, feathers, glitter and hostesses all around.

1920s Champagne Dress

Another great option to give your event more impact is to have a person inside a champagne dress handing drinks to your guests, so they don't have to go to the bar for one.

Temporary Tattoo Station

Being the era of the forbidden and in a clandestine venue, a few fake tattoos on your guests are a must, so that they never forget how fun it was to turn back time and feel the adrenaline of doing something illegal.

We will bring different tattoo options with different sizes, shapes and designs related to 1920s Chicago. These are henna, and can be removed the same day or fade away on their own in a couple of days.

Once inside, you will find yourself surrounded by a variety of entertainment that evokes the essence of the 1920s. On the main stage, a live jazz band will play the classics of the era, while at some point in the event a burlesque show will come on to delight the audience. In a corner of the hall, a magician will captivate spectators with his tricks of illusion and mystery.

• Cabaret Show: A show with 3 to 4 dancers full of glitter, feathers, sensuality and fun. It is divided into 3 appearances throughout the night of 10 minutes per set, featuring group, duo and solo dances.
• "All That Jazz" Show: a show of 3 sets of 10 minutes per appearance, inspired by the film Chicago, with eye-catching costumes, feathers, glitter and sensuality.
• Gangsters vs Police Performance: This is a short piece of acting at one point in the event, depicting the discovery of the clandestine venue where the betting has been taking place.
• Jazz Band: What better way to go back to the Prohibition era than enjoying the sound of the saxophone, piano, bass, drums and more, played together and live in the distinctive musical style of jazz, with its complex rhythms, virtuoso improvisations and great interaction between the band members and the audience.
• Magic show: This live performance combines illusion, surprises and entertainment to captivate the audience, and includes active participation from the spectators, creating an interactive and exciting experience.                             

The staff you may need for the Prohibition event, not counting the different shows, live music and other entertainment, is:

• Croupiers at each casino table
• 1920s-themed hostesses (they are not mandatory, but they really liven up the party)
• Among others (this will be specified more precisely once the quote has been prepared)

Hostesses at a themed Chicago event are very useful for setting the scene, turning the venue into a great party and teleporting you to the 1920s. Their tasks are as follows:

• Give a welcome to the attendees, accompanying them to their place
• Encourage guests to join the different activities
• Interact with the attendees to create more atmosphere at the event
• Take photos with the guests
• Hand out the prizes of the night

Chicago is usually chosen for any type of event. From corporate/business events to private parties.

For better atmosphere, it is recommended to hold it in a bar. However, in any other venue a good atmosphere can always be achieved.
