Description:

A “Grease” themed event aims to recreate the atmosphere of nostalgia, energy and fun of the 1950s, like those days at the fair with friends, with music and vintage clothing.

It will feature a decorated entrance, catering, drinks bar, hostesses to liven up the event, invitations, photocall or 360 photo booth for souvenir photos, general decoration, tables, games, fairground stalls and more.

Invitations:

Imagine your guests opening their mailbox and finding a real gem from the golden years of music. Our invitation is designed as an authentic vinyl record, complete with a personalised label inviting them to join your event.

Welcoming the guests:

The entrance will have a giant, emblematic sign with the word “Grease”, with two people dressed as Danny and Sandy welcoming guests to the venue, and a photographer waiting to take their picture.

Catering:

Guests can't go without food at such a special event, which is why we offer catering that captures the spirit of your party.

With a menu in true American diner style, we offer

• Mini burgers: with melted cheddar cheese, fresh lettuce, tomato and special sauce on soft buns.
• Classic hot dogs: with quality sausages, served with caramelised onion, mustard, ketchup and mayonnaise.

• Crispy fries: accompany the main dishes with crispy fries, seasoned with salt and pepper to taste.
• Retro sweets: such as candies, caramels, marshmallows, chewing gum, etc.
• Themed desserts: such as cupcakes decorated with 1950s motifs, lollipop-shaped cookies and retro-style glazed doughnuts. 

• Slush cart: prepares slushes in classic 1950s flavours, such as lemon, cherry, strawberry and cola. These flavours are refreshing and evoke the nostalgia of the sodas of the era.

• Popcorn cart: your guests will enjoy a delicious and fun snack that will perfectly complement the retro atmosphere of the celebration. May they enjoy the popcorn and all the fun of the party!

• Candy floss cart: candy floss would be a sweet and charming addition to your party.

All of the above with creative presentation, bright colours and retro details.

Drinks bar / milkshakes:

A milkshake station is ideal for your event, where your guests can come over and make their own creations. We have:

• A variety of flavours: as a base we have vanilla, chocolate and strawberry. If the client requires any other, it can be added.
• Quality ice cream: we use high-quality ice cream to make delicious, creamy milkshakes. We offer dairy-free options for those with dietary restrictions
• Additional ingredients: some options may include grated chocolate, cookie pieces, chopped nuts and cherries.
• Special containers: the milkshakes are served in authentic containers, such as tall glass tumblers, to give them a retro and authentic touch.
• Paper straws: striped paper straws, a classic element that will perfectly complement the 1950s-style milkshake experience.

Dress Code and costume contest:

The dress code is a crucial part of taking your guests back to the 1950s and immersing them in the atmosphere of the film. That is why suggesting that they dress in the style of the Grease characters will enhance the event. Here are our suggestions:

• Hairstyles and accessories: encourage guests to complete their look with hairstyles like Sandy's at the end of the film or the boys' gel-slicked greaser hairdos. Accessories such as scarves, bandanas, sunglasses and vintage jewellery can also add authenticity to the outfit.
• Footwear: vintage-style shoes are the ideal choice to complete the look. Girls can opt for high heels or ballet flats, while boys can wear boots or Oxford shoes.
• Make-up: suggest make-up that reflects the 1950s aesthetic, with bold red lips, cat-eye eyeliner and soft blush. For the boys, a more natural look with a touch of hair gel may be enough.
• Costume contest: to encourage guests to take part even more, we offer the option of organising a costume contest with prizes for the best portrayals of the “Grease” characters or the most authentic 1950s looks.

Entrance:

At the entrance there will be a large Grease sign and, on either side, two giant milkshakes, followed by a retro tunnel full of lighting with vinyl records all around. Two hostesses in 1950s style or Danny and Sandy impersonators will be welcoming guests.

Tables or Lounge Area:

So that your guests are comfortable while socialising or eating, we have tables or a lounge area.

The tables will have pastel-coloured tablecloths and a retro centrepiece.

The lounge area will be furnished with retro furniture.

Photocall:

A retro photocall is the most anticipated way to get a souvenir photo of the night. For this, there will be a themed backdrop simulating an American diner, with a black-and-white floor and 2D figures simulating classic cars.

To one side there will be a cart with Grease-themed props, such as cat-eye sunglasses, hats, silk scarves, bow ties, pearl necklaces and wigs.

General Decoration:

The event will be decorated in a retro and vintage style that will evoke the unforgettable atmosphere of the golden years of rock and roll. From neon movie signs to vinyl records adorning the walls, every detail will be carefully designed to create an authentic and exciting experience.

We will also have a 1950s jukebox to play the film's playlist and sing it all together.

Some of the activity and entertainment options we have for the event are:

• Dance contest: the hostesses will organise a dance contest with a list of iconic songs from the film Grease, and the attendee with the most votes from the audience will be the winner.
• Costume contest: with prizes for the best portrayals of the "Grease" characters or the most authentic 1950s looks.
• Karaoke: karaoke at your "Grease" themed party will definitely add an extra touch of fun and excitement.
• Fairground stalls: the fairground stalls will offer several game options such as archery, the frog game, horseshoe toss, darts, among others.
• Strength Hammer: is a fairground game
• Retro Games: such as pinball, table football, among others.
• Plush Toy Claw Machines: with custom event teddy bears.

The staff that may be needed for the “Grease” event is, not counting the various shows, live music and other entertainment:

• Themed hostesses in 1950s style (not mandatory, but they really liven up the guests and add atmosphere)
