Fairground Stall Hire

When you hire a fairground game stall, what you get is a decorated, personalised fair stand where a different game can be played at each one.

When you hire a mini-fair stall, our team takes care of transport, set-up and dismantling, and also of placing staff at each fair stall. We recommend our own staff, as our team is used to and knows each game.

The fair stalls are designed so that the guests at an event can play at each of the stalls without paying money, with the chance of winning a prize, usually cuddly toys or the client's own merchandising. So that every guest can win a prize, we can agree beforehand the difficulty level of each fairground game, so that prizes can be distributed evenly over the whole duration of the themed event.

In the end, the mini fair is a set of small fairground stalls simulating a games fair, mainly aimed at themed events where you want to recreate the feeling of being at a fair.

When playing at each fairground stall, each guest expects that if they beat the game at the stall they can win a prize as a result of their feat.

At each fair stall we recommend buying cuddly toys of different sizes, both personalised and non-personalised. You can buy the toys through United Events or from another supplier.

It is important to have prizes because they not only give players an incentive to use the fair stall hire, but also serve as decoration for each stall and create a more fitting atmosphere.

There are different ways of giving out the prizes: each winner can be given a prize once they have completed the challenge at each stall, or they can be given victory points to accumulate and exchange for prizes at the end of the night.

Our team needs to know in advance which system will be used so that we can buy the point strips and know that no prize has to be handed out at that moment, so we recommend communicating the prize method when quoting for the fairground stall hire.

The mini-fair stalls are built of wood and aluminium, and their customisation is 3 mm Forex PVC Euro Light.

Each fairground stall then includes decoration such as the typical fair garlands, lights, prizes to hand out or its own customisation.

You also need to think about the space required by each specific game that goes behind each fair stall, such as the unit holding the bottles for the ring toss, the pool for the rubber ducks or the unit for the tin can shy.

Ring Toss hire
This fairground game consists of a set of bottles onto which the player must throw rings. If a ring lands around the neck of a bottle, the guest wins.

Difficulty levels can be set by the number of rings that need to land to win the prize.

Fairground Duck Fishing hire

The duck pond size is 150x80x15cm (length x width x height)
This fairground duck stall is one of the classic ones for dressing a circus or fair themed event.

It works very simply: there are different rubber ducks in a small pool and only one of them has a prize. The aim is to fish out, with a rod, the fairground rubber duck that has the prize. You cannot tell which one it is as they are all identical, and only one has a prize message on its base.

It can also be set up so that all the ducks have a prize and only one has the big prize, or so that all the ducks have different prizes; we can place numbers under each rubber duck.

The fairground duck fishing game has a time limit of approximately 5 minutes per person so that all attendees have time to play.

Fairground Shooting Stall hire
The mini-fair shooting stalls can be made with different types of shooting equipment, depending on whether you are looking for more adult fairground games or it is for a children's party.

Normally we have short-range pellet guns, but for the little ones cork guns are used.

It works like this: each player has a gun with 4 pellets and must hit the 3 targets in the fair stall. If they manage to hit all the targets with the 4 pellets, they win the prize.

As a precaution for this adult fairground game, there must be nothing behind the stall and it must be away from any other area, and the area must also be cordoned off so that nobody can pass through it. Each player will wear protective glasses and right behind the shooting unit there will be a cork board or similar to absorb the shots. This fair stall requires special care and responsibility, and our team will maintain safe playing guidelines.

Fairground Dart Board Stall hire
This stall is a wheel full of balloons where you have to win a prize with three darts. Each person who bursts a balloon will find inside it a slip of paper, or not, telling them the prize won; a slip may only say an extra throw, or nothing.

The wheel can be spun so that it is harder for the person to burst the balloon.

The balloon-popping stall is designed to hand out many prizes, since many balloons can be placed on the board, each with a prize.

Half an hour is needed beforehand to inflate all the balloons to be placed at the start and those to be put up later, so that the staff do not spend so much time inflating balloons and placing the prizes inside them.

The fairground dart board can be adapted using poker cards instead of balloons, with each card having a different value, or red envelopes with a prize inside. These options reduce the time staff spend resetting the game for each new player, so we recommend using poker cards or envelopes with prizes instead.

Fairground Archery Target Stall hire
This stall has the same purpose as the dart fairground stall, but a bow with real arrows is used. The safety points are the same as for the pellet shooting stall.

For children's parties this fairground activity can be adapted with plastic bows that stick onto a plastic target.

For the older audience, the adult fairground stall can be modified with different items such as ninja stars or knives, but we would need to look at this carefully and consider all the dangerous points in order to proceed with rules and procedures for using these fairground stalls.

Fairground Tin Can Shy stall hire
This fairground stall is open to all audiences, is very basic and consists of knocking all the cans off a platform with 3 small sandbags.

It is ideal for dressing a fair or circus themed event well and also for children's parties.

Frog Stall hire
Also a classic and a mini-fair stall for all audiences: the frog game, where you throw metal coins into a box with a frog. Depending on which slot the coin lands in, you get higher or lower points; the aim is to land it in the frog's mouth.

The hire of these fairground stalls is suitable for children's parties.

Virtual Reality Fairground Stall hire
At this fair stall you can play all the fairground games with virtual reality headsets. Behind the fair stall there will be a screen where all attendees can see what the player is doing inside virtual reality.

Fairground stall hire fits very well for fair or circus themed parties, as well as adult corporate events or children's parties.

The hire of fair stalls for events is designed to dress the event very well and also so that they can be set up at any event venue, since we build the fairground stalls from scratch.

Depending on the audience, whether more adult or more children, we adapt the games so that they are not dangerous for children and so that the prizes better suit the attendees who will play the different fairground games at the event.

The mini-fair games for events can be fully customised visually, as well as the game itself. Below are the sizes for customising the fairground stall.

It is normally designed for 1 to 2 players, depending on the type of game.

More than two people would find it hard to play, as the width of the fairground stall is 150cm.

Setting up each fairground stall takes approximately 30 minutes once we have all the material at the event stall location, but you also need to count the time it takes to carry it from our truck to the place where the fair stall is to be installed at the event. In a normal setting, carrying everything usually takes 30 minutes per stall, so each fair stall would take 1 hour with two technicians. If there is not that much set-up time, we would need to hire another two set-up operators to reduce the set-up time.

Each game is designed to take no more than 5 minutes to finish, but it will always depend on the skill and patience of each guest when playing.

There are also games, such as the tin cans or the balloon-popping dart board, that need resetting once a guest finishes playing so that the next player can play. This reset depends on each game, but we have already planned for each game to take as little time as possible, for example by having new balloons with prizes ready to put up.

Staff are absolutely necessary at each fair stall. Our event games company already takes care of this, so the hire price of the fairground stalls includes staff for each stall for 3 hours. If more time is needed, the extra time must be quoted so that we provide the staff.

You can also hire staff for the event from outside our company, but we recommend our staff as they have worked with these games several times and know each of them. If you wish to hire outside staff, we would explain things at the time of setting up the event.

Each fairground stall can have different technical needs. For example, the duck fishing stall will need a water point where we can fill the pool for the rubber ducks, and the pellet shooting stall will need many safety points that we have to take into account when designing the place where this stall will be located, so you should ask about the technical needs once you know which fairground stalls you want to hire.

We also need the place where you want to put the mini fair at the event to not be too far from our truck and to have a minimum width of 60 cm so that we can get through with the bases and without stairs, as each stall weighs a lot and has no wheels.

The fairground stalls weigh a lot and the decoration is designed so that these stalls do not move, so we recommend being sure where you want to place each fairground stall, since to move it everything would have to be dismantled and reassembled, and time needed for other aspects of the event would be lost.

For the hire of a fairground shooting stall of any kind, access behind each shooting stall must be blocked to all guests for their own safety.

Lead time needed to book fairground stalls

If the stalls need to be customised, at least 2 weeks' notice is required. You can also customise them yourselves, in which case the customisation time is on your side.

Also, if you would like to customise a specific game, we first need to discuss the customisation or creation of the fairground game in question so we can assess the time we will need.

Booking the fairground stalls

To book the mini fair for themed events, a payment of 50% of the event is required to secure the date. At that point it is reserved, and the remaining 50% is paid on the day of the event.

To make the payment, we need to have all the information about the event and the tax details so we can invoice if you want an invoice. The main details we need about the event are the following

• Start time/day of each fairground stall
• Name of the contact person on our arrival for set-up
• Phone number of the contact person on our arrival for set-up
• Exact address of the event
• Tax details if an invoice is needed

Cancelling the mini fair for events

Booking a product allows us to reserve a specific day for you so that another client cannot take your date. If for any reason the event needs to be postponed, the event day can be changed to another day, but it cannot be cancelled, since we could have had another client for that day.

The price of fairground stall hire for events depends on the city where the themed event will take place and the hours required, so we need detailed information about the event in order to give you a quote for the mini fair hire.

Any type of lighting can be fitted to the small fairground stalls.

You can hire the mini fair for events anywhere, since generally 80% of the mini fairs we run are outside Barcelona, in places such as Zaragoza, Vigo, Seville, Valencia or Madrid, for example.

The price of fairground stalls for parties already includes transport, delivery and installation in Barcelona and the surrounding area, but outside Barcelona a quote will be needed.

If you want to hire outside Barcelona, mileage, per diems, accommodation and technicians must be budgeted, and these are already included in the hire price of the quote.
