Ideal for birthday parties, graduation parties, business lunches and school events.
Types of events for hot dog hire
This type of entertainment is all-terrain, so it suits all kinds of events such as,
- Weddings
- Baptisms
- Communions
- Birthday parties
- Corporate meetings
- Company afterworks
- Themed events
- Conferences and trade fairs
How many hot dogs can be made per event?
The number of hot dogs per event will be determined mainly by the number of hours booked.
On average we can make these numbers of hot dogs per time,
1h of hot dog service: We can make 35 hot dogs at the event approx.
2h of hot dog service: We can make 70 hot dogs at the event approx.
3h of hot dog service: We can make 105 hot dogs at the event approx.
4h of hot dog service: We can make 140 hot dogs at the event approx.
If you do not have that much time and need to make more hot dogs because there are many guests, we advise hiring more than 1 machine; the number of hot dogs is calculated per machine.
Is it necessary to hire staff for the hot dog machine?
The machine can be hired without staff or our own United Events team can attend to provide waiters who cook the sausages.
If you opt for hot dog cart hire without a waiter you must leave a deposit when you collect the machine or when we deliver the Frankfurt machine. If, on the other hand, you opt for sausage cart hire with a waiter, no deposit has to be left; you will only pay the price of the hot dog cart with or without transport.
How many types of sausages can be used per hot dog machine?
Each machine consists of two separate trays, so we could make two types of sausage per machine. If you want more types of sausages, such as Vienna-style Frankfurters or Bratwurst, for example, you would need to book an extra machine to have a Bratwurst and Frankfurt cart and, for example, another cart of vegan hot dogs.
It can also be done by time: the first hour can be one specific type of sausage, changing the type of sausage every hour.
Does our hot dog cart hire include transport?
You can decide whether to hire it with or without transport. The transport price for hot dog hire will depend on the time, the distance from Barcelona and the number of trips to be made.
To see an exact price you need to request a quote for hot dog cart hire with transport, indicating the following:
- Day or days of the event
- Location of the event
- Set-up time
- Service start time
- Service end time
- Take-down time
What is included in the sausage cart hire price
It will also depend, for example, on whether more services have been included in the event or on the number of units, but normally it would be the following.
- Hot dog machine.
- Hot dog cart as a support for the machine.
- Waiter to cook the sausages and make the hot dogs
- Sauces such as ketchup, mayonnaise and mustard
- Packaging for the hot dogs
- Free transport in Barcelona
Hot dog cart customisation
The hot dog cart can be customised. For this we have the lower front or the upper front of the cart, but we can adapt to whatever type of customisation you want.
Time needed for set-up
Set-up is very quick. Hire of the hot dog stand for parties is divided into the upper hot dog machine and the base cart, but it will depend a lot on whether the place where we park the van is relatively close to the set-up area.
Once the hot dog cart is connected to the electrical supply, we place the bread and the hot dogs inside to cook. They are steamed, so it takes about half an hour for it to be ready to serve.
In short, if the place where we install the hot dog machine is relatively close to the van, you can estimate between 45 minutes and one hour.
Requirements for the hot dog machine for parties
We mainly need the following. If any of the points could not be met, you should talk to us to see how to solve that specific point.
- A nearby power connection point (2 metres)
- An area to place the products we are going to use
- An area to dispose of the disposable plastic wrappers
- An easy route from the unloading area to the place where we want to put the hot dog cart at your wedding or event.
- A suitable place to pour away the used water after the hot dog service (6 litres)
Hygiene, cleanliness and COVID prevention
All our staff are fully vaccinated and can prove it. If necessary we can take an antigen test at the event. At events with large numbers of guests, government or regional guidelines on whether masks are required are followed. In all cases the staff will also use disposable gloves while handling food.
After each event we clean the hot dog machines that have been in contact with food, and also before the event starts in our warehouses and before the service starts at the event.
In our warehouses we disinfect the machines with anti-COVID products using Bactoclena

The trays we provide measure 17x5x3.5cm

A vegan hot dog cart and a separate chicken or turkey hot dog cart can also be set up.
Before the event starts, we recommend carrying out a joint double check of the products to be used, and we must always know before going to any event whether anyone cannot consume gluten or any specific product. We are not responsible for any related incident that the client has not notified us of beforehand.

Once the hot dog cart is installed, is it easy to move?
The hot dog machine hire consists of the hot dog machine with a wheeled cart adapted for the machine, so moving it is very easy, but it always needs an electrical power point.
It would also be convenient to have an area where we can place all the boxes of necessary material and a rubbish bin for all the leftover plastics from the products.
Hot dog cart branding
It can be customised on the upper front and lower front parts, but a specific modification can be requested for a quote, such as a colour change of the machine or something similar.
The price will depend on the modification you want to make. We also have side banners that can be placed on its sides.
Booking the hot dog machine hire
Time needed to book it
The time needed to book it can vary depending on whether customisation is needed. If customisation is needed we would need a minimum of 2 working weeks to make the changes to the machine.
If no customisation is needed you can even order it 2 days before the event. However, we do not advise leaving it so late, because most likely we will have another event or the hot dog machine will already be on hire at that time, so we recommend booking it as far in advance as possible, normally it is booked 1-2 months in advance to be sure of securing the hot dog cart service.
How to make the booking
First of all you need to send a request by email, phone or WhatsApp. We then check availability and offer the price for hot dog cart hire for events or weddings. Once the quote is accepted, the client pays 50% to reserve and the remaining 50% the day before the service. If it is a public holiday, payment must be made on the last non-holiday day before the event so that the transfer can arrive successfully. In the booking request we would need the following details
- Time/Day of installation of the hot dog stand
- Time/Day of the start of the wedding, birthday or corporate event
- Name of the contact person for when we arrive at the event
- Telephone number of the contact person on our arrival
- Exact place where the event will take place
- Tax details for invoicing
Can it be cancelled once the booking has been made?
The event booking allows us to block the day for the client who booked and thus not offer it to another client for another event. The booking can only be cancelled and refunded if the reason is beyond the client's control, such as coronavirus or similar. It is possible to change the day of the event and thus not lose the booking.
Hot dog cart hire price
The price of the hot dog cart will depend on the location of the event, the number of hours booked, variations to the base product or customisation of it, so we recommend sending a quote request so that we can assess the price of the hot dog machine hire.
Hot dog machine hire outside Barcelona
We normally hold events in Barcelona and Madrid, but we can adapt to anywhere in Spain. If different services or event games are requested, the transport price may not affect much, so in general we do provide the service outside Barcelona, but we need to go into the details of the event.
Transport, delivery and set-up of the mobile hot dog stand
The price of the mobile hot dog stand hire includes transport in Barcelona. We come with a van that is 230cm high, so we ask for a loading and unloading space that meets these requirements.
If the machine is delivered without a waiter, a refundable deposit must be paid, which will be returned at the same moment you return the machine to us.
Delivery conditions for the hot dog cart without a waiter
To deliver the hot dog machine without a waiter we ask for a refundable deposit, which will be returned on collection if the following points are met,
- Machine working and without visible damage
- The hot dog machine is as clean as when it was delivered at the start
If any point is not met, an amount in proportion to the damage would be deducted from the deposit.
