Super Giant Table Football

A Giant Table Football is a modification of a normal table football table in terms of size. If we had to put it in a group of event games, we would place this table football among the arcade games.

Basically it is a table game that represents a football stadium, with a wooden football pitch, normally green, on which two different teams play. Each team stands on the side opposite their opponents and must try to score a goal in the opponent's goal using the figure-shaped players on the pitch.

This game is ideal for large groups, since a normal table football is designed for four people, while the giant table football is designed for 8 up to 16 players.

A long table football is configured with different modules: 2 goal modules and the remaining pitch-extension modules. The dimensions are as follows:

No coins are needed to play

First, two teams must be formed. It is not necessary to fill all the player positions, since players can move from one position to another.

Once the two teams have been formed, each team stands on one side of the table football, where the rotating rods used to control the figures on the pitch are located.

The game starts when a player throws a wooden ball, representing the ball, into the centre of the pitch. From the moment the ball touches the pitch, the guests must hit the ball with their figures in order to get it into the opponent's goal.

The aim of the game is to score a goal in the opponent's goal. In normal table football games there are on average 7 balls to play with, so whoever puts the most balls into the opponent's goal wins. In the giant table football it is a little different: since the pitch is very long and there are many players, the winning team is the first to score a goal.

A variant of this game is to put more than one ball on the pitch so that there is more activity for all the players, since sometimes when the play is happening in one part of the table it takes a long time to reach the players at the opposite end of the table.

The aim of this variant is to put as many wooden balls as possible into the opponent's goal, and the game ends once all the balls have been put into one goal or the other.

Almost everyone has played a conventional table football at least once. Because this one is so big, it tends to make an impact, and all audiences want to play, at least to try it. It is open to all kinds of audiences, although it tends to attract more interest from men.

The type of event where this game can be placed is also very varied, but we would focus on places where you want to create a visual impact and draw people in, which makes it ideal for trade fairs and conventions. It would also be ideal for large groups such as corporate dinners or team-building since it is ideal for forming groups of players, as at trade fairs and conventions.

Because this giant table football is so big, the first thing it creates is a visual impact that makes guests who already know a normal table football look at, and even play, this unusual one. At the very least they will want to take a photo next to it, so it can be a fantastic way to draw guests to one spot.

In the giant table football, from 2 up to 16 players can play simultaneously in two different teams.

It is not necessary for all the players to be present to play the giant table football, although it is more fun when the pitch is full.

The maximum pitch size is built for 16 simultaneous players, but it can be adapted so that the maximum is 12 or 8 simultaneous players.

If you wanted to extend the pitch even further it would be possible, but we would need to assess the option of extending it for more players.

It is hard to determine an exact time guests might take to score a goal, but we can give time ranges depending on the format you want to play.

In general, the time a team takes to score a goal will naturally depend on the guests' skill, but if we choose the one-ball format we can say that a goal can be scored in around 3 minutes . If we put 4 balls on the pitch at the same time, it will take around 5 minutes to put all 4 balls in.

It is possible to add a giant scoreboard for the teams' scores to the final price.

It is operated manually: each time a team scores, a hostess or a guest who is playing can add one more point so that the result can be seen in a more striking way at every moment.

This scoreboard includes a two-bar vertical stand, as shown in the image.

The giant table football also includes two conventional scoreboards for keeping track of scores.

Staff are absolutely not necessary for the giant table football, unless for image reasons you want to have someone to keep score on the digital scoreboard or note down the players' results.

Not counting the transfer of the giant table football modules to the place the client wants, it takes half an hour to set up the giant table football.

The time needed to carry it from the lorry to the event venue varies depending on the event and its conditions, but we usually arrive an hour before the event to set up the giant table football.

Since it is a wooden table game, it does not need any kind of electricity; basically the only requirement is the space needed to play.

You need more than just space for the giant table football: you also need space for guests who want to watch the game and those who are playing, so at least one metre must be added around the perimeter occupied by the giant table football.

Another requirement to bear in mind is the transport and installation of the table football. The giant table football is divided into very heavy modules that are carried from the lorry to the place where you want the table football using trolleys. If there are stairs along the way, or the distance between the lorry and the event venue is not short, the event coordinator must be informed before booking so that we can assess the feasibility of the project.

If the giant table football has to be placed in an outdoor area the client must protect it from any weather problems such as rain or snow, covering it if it rains. If the client wishes, we can add disposable plastic covers to the quote to protect the table football.

If the table football has to remain exposed to the public and is not in an enclosed venue, the client must provide security

• Loading and unloading area without long stairs up to the event location.
• If outdoors, the client must be able to protect it from possible rain.
• If it is exposed to the general public and/or overnight, it needs security.

We normally place the client's logo at the start and at the end of the table football, printed on PVC, which the client can keep after the event if they wish. Its dimensions are 20x69 cm. Placing the client's logo on the game carries a surcharge, although if preferred the client can place their brand themselves in the most striking way they like, as long as after removing the client's branding the table football looks the same as at the start.

Once the giant table football is installed, it is not easy to move since it is made up of different modules that each weigh around 80 kg. For assembly we fit 4 solid legs to each module, then fix anchors at the bottom of the join between each module and also at the top, for greater stability.

It can be moved slightly, but this requires at least 8 people. We recommend knowing where you want the table football before it is installed.

Time needed to book

The giant table football can be booked even one day in advance, but it all depends on our availability. It is quite possible that the product is already booked by another client, so we recommend booking as soon as you know the date.

If you would like us to include branding on the giant table football, we would need the logos at the required sizes for PVC printing 2 weeks in advance.

How to book

To book the table football you only need to make an advance payment of 50% of the event; at that moment it is reserved.

To make this payment we need to issue an invoice including all the event details and the account number. For this we need you to email us the following details:

• Time/Day of event start
• Contact name for when we arrive at the event location
• Contact phone number for when we arrive at the event location
• Exact location of the event
• Tax details so we can invoice the client

Can the event be cancelled once the booking has been made?

A product booking allows us to reserve that product exclusively for the client who made the booking, so if another client asks us for the product we cannot offer it, since we have reserved it for the client who made the booking.

100% of the booking will be refunded if it rains when you wanted to place the table football outdoors, or if the event is cancelled in general.

The price of a giant table football can vary depending on different factors such as location; it is not the same to hire a giant table football in Madrid as to hire a giant table football in Barcelona.
