What is the Zoltar Fortune-Teller Witch and how does it work?
The Zoltar Fortune-Teller Witch is a fairground arcade machine with an animatronic fortune-teller witch figure, protected inside a perspex display case. The guest never touches the figure: they interact only with a screen and 4 navigation buttons.
How it works, step by step
- The guest stands in front of the machine and the screen guides them step by step.
- Using the buttons, they enter their zodiac sign, name, age and other details the machine asks for.
- At the end, the witch "makes the prediction": her eyes light up, the crystal ball glows with an electricity effect, she moves her hands up and down and a characteristic retro 1980s sound plays.
- The machine prints the prediction on paper, with messages along the lines of "the witch has seen your destiny...".
Why hire the Zoltar Fortune-Teller Witch?
It is something different, with the classic fairground look of the traditional Zoltar machines: red and purple cabinet with marquee, star and esoteric symbols. It works in self-contained mode, without constant staff, and the lit-up eyes and crystal ball, along with the paper with the prediction, are guaranteed content for photos and social media. It can also be customised with your company logo on the marquee or with a full vinyl wrap of the cabinet.
The privacy curtain and customisation
It includes an opaque black tarpaulin that can cover the whole front of the cabinet while the guest plays, giving the game privacy just like in a 4-photo ID photo booth. Customisation is flexible: from a discreet logo on the top marquee to wrapping or decorating the rest of the cabinet as you wish, always in a reversible way. In addition, before installation at the event, the United Events team can access the inside of the display case to make small touch-ups to the witch's costume or add props within her setting.

Set-up and installation
We take care of transporting, setting up and dismantling the Zoltar Fortune-Teller Witch anywhere in the country. Set-up takes about 15-20 minutes and dismantling about 15 minutes. It only needs a power point nearby and a space of approximately 2 x 2 metres. Once installed, it runs completely on its own, with no technical staff needed during the event.
How to make the booking? And what if the event is cancelled?
The booking of the Zoltar Fortune-Teller Witch is confirmed by an advance payment of 50% of the event, via an invoice that will include all the event details and the account number, and requires sending the set-up and event date and time, the exact address, the contact person and the tax details. If it is cancelled for a justified reason, such as bad weather outdoors, we refund 100% of the amount.
